We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager Europe Mission of the Role The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that introduce new leisure business opportunities while enhancing market share within existing leisure accounts. The ultimate goal is to achieve and surpass sales targets for The Palace Company (TPC) in designated regions. Reporting Line This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Sales EMEA. Milan Head Office Key Responsibilities Planning & Organizing Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet set targets, adhering to the established business plan. Leverage available resources to maximize The Palace Company Brands' market presence and visibility across EUROPE. Sales and Business Development Collaborate closely with the EMEA Director of Sales to establish and follow an annual sales budget, business plan, travel schedule, and expense budget to guide daily activities. Utilize advanced sales techniques such as prospecting, webinars, sales blitz, presentations, site inspections, and fam trips. Build and maintain robust relationships with Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) and key luxury consortia in his assigned markets to ensure accurate and timely information sharing. Create a strategic roadmap to identify and seize key opportunities in leisure segments. Monitor market intelligence and share insights with the EMEA DOS to ensure strategic alignment and informed decision-making. Identify, profile, and secure contracts with high-value leisure accounts to drive top-line growth. Closely monitor competitor activity to maintain a competitive advantage and adapt strategies accordingly. Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional efforts such as exhibitions, trade shows, and partnerships that enhance brand presence in key territories. Prepare for and actively participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings. Submit comprehensive sales trip reports within one week of completion and deliver monthly sales reports punctually. Adhere to expense management guidelines and participate in all mandatory training programs. Oversee contract renewals, client proposals, and negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions. Key Account Management Implement key account management strategies to foster long-term growth within existing accounts. Develop tailored account-specific plans to maximize business potential from top clients. Ensure that account profiles are accurate and continuously updated in the Property Management System (PMS). Conduct quarterly business reviews with accounts to assess performance and identify opportunities for growth. Develop corrective strategies to address any business downturns and realign with targets. Coordinate tactical fam trips to key properties as guided by the EMEA DOS, enhancing client loyalty and fostering future business. Identify and establish strategic partnerships to elevate brand awareness in key territories. Who are we looking for? A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality. Proficiency in Italian and advanced English;
Spanish or German will a plus. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. A strong commitment to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by exceeding client expectations. A proactive approach to enhancing market, client, and competitor knowledge. Willingness to attend required meetings and training sessions regularly. Flexibility to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company. Commitment to continuous professional development through training and participation in company meetings.
