DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLEThe Regional Supply Chain Manager will have the opportunity to support and co-ordinate the implementation of procurement best practices between the local structures and the Global Sourcing organisation, ensuring the correct application of procurement policies (Global, Regional and Local) and fostering effective communication between the different company functions. He/she will be in charge of communicating with the factories to find new developments for Europe Procurement meeting and follow requests/changes by the Bata OpCos Collection Managers, follow the development of confirmation samples, covering Purchase Orders issuance and processing, orders/packaging instruction, direct liaison with Bata OpCos Collection Managers on all orders and purchasing requirements, facilitate the audit and shipping processes in cooperation with the Global Procurement office. KEY CHALLENGESCommunicate with suppliers to find new developments for Europe Procurement meetingPlan, lead and manage team to handle all work related to production planning for all orders placed through Global Procurement/BPS (Bata Purchase System)Monitor supplier production schedule for all orders to meet set and confirmed ex-factory dateEnsure that all information and relative modification will be input into BPS and industrialization fileAssist in driving commitments and orders working closely with Bata OpCos Collection Manager in coordination with Global Supply ChainCommunicate to the suppliers any changes made from Bata OpCos Collection ManagersReceive, check and process official Purchase Orders from Bata OpCosFollow up on specific packaging instructions from OpCos to suppliersPlan, manage and monitor all orders to ensure on-time deliverySupport all shipping processes with an overview of the supplier booking schedule and EDTAssist on CBD collection and analysis in coordination with Global and Regional sourcing costing teamAssist in managing and maintenance of the Global Procurement/BPS Vendors ListingAssist Global Audit and compliance team to check and carry out all the necessary documents for onboarding into BPSQA & QC requirements coordination and follow-up with Global and Regional quality control teamClaims managementHandling LC (Letter of Credit) opening processManage Production Planning and Orders Management teams' daily functionsSupport shipping and logistics teamAssist in KPI and business report preparationsCORE COMPETENCIESStrong knowledge of shoe-making – how to create a pattern and main production processesPursues quality in accomplishing tasks paying attention to details and verifying informationAbility to prioritize and organize multiple tasksGood problem-solving skillsResult orientation and decision makingExcellent communication skills, self-motivated and able to lead a teamFlexibility and adaptabilityStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and follow-upStrong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPointPreferable knowledge of AS400Good knowledge of ItalianGood knowledge of written and spoken EnglishLOCATIONLimena (PD)Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period #J-18808-Ljbffr
