We are recruiting a Regional Technical Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical oversight and operational support in the delivery of critical engineering services to the Citi MEA regional satellite data centres and Techrooms. This position will act as technical interface between client engineering, client critical infrastructure projects and CBRE engineering teams for complex activities and will ensure best in class standard of engineering delivery to the client across critical assets and operations.

The role will require completion of specified planned critical and statutory works which are deemed to require technical manager support.

The role will be required to support abnormal operating conditions in critical space and ensure mitigation measures are identified and actioned to avoid any impact on client business operations. The role requires a strong MEA technical and statutory competence and drive to comply with all Health and Safety policies and standards. The Position will also provide subject matter expertise and engineering lead support for the delivery and operation of critical data centres plus other critical facilities regionally. Key Tasks:Critical Facilities Operations: Regional service delivery and support for Strategic and Satellite data centres, Technology rooms, and other Critical Facilities / Systems. Change Management: Provide engineering support to ensure thorough review and approval of all critical operational and construction activities in critical facilities. Strategy and Planning: Development and maintenance of consistent critical facility operations standards and critical engineering best practice.

Review and oversight of critical engineering maintenance and engineering specifications. Outage Reporting / Incident Response: Incident and Outage Response, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

Resolve any critical systems environments audit and/or Risk & Control challenges. Audit and Risk Control: Risk, Control, and Compliance mitigation and notification including assisting in critical facilities operation oversight, audits, and issues. Critical Facilities OperationsManage overall service delivery in Strategic and Satellite data centres and other Critical Facilities, provide support in the management of other critical systems located in facilities throughout the region. Participate in the development of and regionally maintain corporate standards for maintenance of critical equipment and operation of facilities. Maintain an inventory of critical components for use in sharing best practices, expediting repairs through leveraged parts positioning. Conduct regular reviews of existing operations to ensure maintenance and operating standards and environments are adequate for each facility. Identify common failure scenarios based upon installed base of similar components and configurations of equipment, focused to pre-empt outages with similar precedents across Citi and industry. Review all new capital and renovation projects within the region with respect to operational requirements. Coordinate operations of Critical Facilities and systems within the region with FM and Sustainability teams to identify opportunities and incorporate best practices. Change ManagementOversee use of change control procedure for critical systems invasive maintenance and changes to ensure proper business level and CRS - CTI coordination is met. Review change management policy utilization across the regional facilities management teams and ensure strict adherence to policy. Manage regional escalation and approval method for emergency changes and events. Act as the region's top-level CBRE CRS approver class in existing change management applications. Review change management schedules across facilities to ensure that production/cob paired facilities do not have coinciding work schedules. Strategy and PlanningAct as CBRE - CRS owner for the planning, development, and execution of critical facilities strategies. Maintain as-built documentation and load conditions up to date for critical systems based upon operations inventory and data. Develop critical sites space, power, and cooling capacity plan and strategy in coordination with MEA and regional TI teams. Identify future risks and shortages in capacity in time to develop coordinated plans for hardware placement and potential expansion. Outage Reporting / Incident ResponseTake responsibility for CRS incident escalation and coordinate all cross-business/function communications regionally. Participate in technical response team to provide 24/7 remote support of all complex situations and outages. Manage CBRE - CRS executive level communication with respect to incidents and events for the region. Develop and manage the regional process for preliminary, ongoing, and final incident reports, post-mortems, CAP plans, and audit grade documentation. Governance (Audit and Risk Control)Cross-reference inventory of equipment against manufacturers' notices and industry alerts, and internal incidents for at-risk hardware and systems architecture. Take ownership stake for the open critical systems environments audit issues, resolve through coordination with regional staff and critical systems operations, incident, and D&C teams. Utilize CBRE global policies and documentation in responding to internal and external audits of critical systems environments, participate in the audit process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
