Regulatory Compliance Manager

Based Seregno - Italy, you will be primarily responsible for managing the business-level Trade Compliance (ITC), Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) and Checkpoint compliance programs and associated day-to-day activities.
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Implement standards by development of local policies, procedures and checklists and certification required to ensure compliance with all applicable UN, USA, EU, and local regulations/orders/resolutions for the regulatory compliance programmes (ITC, Checkpoint and PEC).
- Ensure that sufficient staffing is in place, and that staff are trained to perform the tasks required for the regulatory compliance programmes.
Provide training on legislation updates.
- Maintain accurate program information in Archer - Monitor the internal ITC, Checkpoint and PEC programs to ensure conformity with all compliance requirements.
- Conduct self-assessments and internal audits to assess compliance, assign corrective actions, and ensure completion of any corrective actions.
- Oversee execution of day-to-day regulatory compliance activities in the various SRL departments and ensure that compliance is fully implemented in line with Emerson and local country requirements.
- Manage the review of contracts to ensure they contain correct trade compliance terms and ensure review of customer's T&C as required.
- Liaise with factories/BUs personnel and ITC staff in order to facilitate order/projects.
- Ensure full compliance with EU and non-EU international trade regulations and laws (including Dual Use regulations, EAR, BIS, OFAC, Classification, Sanction & Embargo, Denied Parties and Customs, etc).
- Support the organizations Gatekeepers and engineers in Tariff and Export control classification.
- Support organization in making declarations for WEEE, Battery and Packaging regulations.
- Guide other functional departments to review or develop regulatory compliance procedures
- Support local assigned Gatekeepers/employees and/or ITC shared service allocated function in releasing ITC and Checkpoint holds in the ERP system or TSE with the justified decision.
**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, Legal
- Knowledge of all Compliance program critical requirements
- Detailed knowledge of Customs and Logistics Terminology and Trade Compliance requirements (Self-Assessment), including Import, Export Compliance and Supply Chain Security
- Knowledge of Export regulations and sanctions
- Ability to interpret government regulations and incorporate changes into ITC Program, as applicable
- Basic understanding of Products
- Understanding of industrial manufacturing processes
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English (C1)
- Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Oracle, TradeSphere Exporter, Amber Road, TRAX, JDE, CRM, Enovia
