Within the Group Reinsurance function , we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team, who is in charge of: Concluding P&C facultative reinsurance contracts with Group Legal Entities and steering/supervising the conclusion of facultative reinsurance contracts between Group Legal Entities and third party reinsurers Managing payments of claims to Group Legal Entities and claims recoveries from retrocessionaire Providing first line legal support to Group Reinsurance and Group Legal Entities in concluding and managing reinsurance agreements (treaty and facultative, P&C and Life) The job holder will deal with Treaty Reinsurance claims and, in particular, will contribute to recover claims from third party reinsurers and to process payments to Group Legal Entities. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Manage all reinsurance losses impacting treaties concluded between the Group Legal Entities and GHO Process claims payments to Group Legal Entities Recover claims affecting treaties concluded between GHO and third party reinsurers, provided they are within the terms and conditions of these contracts Monitor, on a quarterly basis, all Major Losses (equal to or higher than EUR 5M gross) occurred during the year All the above tasks imply the careful analysis of technical reports, legal advices and documents related to the reinsurance claims. Moreover, claims statistics will be produced for internal or external purposes. Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Economics, Law or any related field At least 2 years' professional experience in insurance (exposure to multiple lines of business and/or international business is a plus) Proficient in English (the knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus) Knowledge of Office 365 applications Soft skills: Target oriented, willing to innovate, able to implement technical initiatives through the organization Strong technical and commercial skills Diplomatic, strong communicator, able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, open and active listener Openness to innovation Company Profile Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
