**Job Description**:
The job involves day-to-day co-operation with Citi colleagues in various countries, including relationship, product and implementation teams.
Based in Milan, the Relationship Management Associate will support the acquisition and management of relationships with the objective of revenue growth and good credit quality in line with the strategy of Citi Commercial Bank.
A key element of this position is to work in close partnership with bankers, products, operations and risk management at all levels to support the growth of the CCB business in Italy.
The CCB team compliments Citi's existing Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory business in Italy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Builds relationships with client network and operational teams, becoming a key contact for internal requests/problem escalation and resolution
- Ensures timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RM)s
- Helps clients to access Citi's global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe
- Works with RMs and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries and KYC/initial credit set-ups completed
- Coordinates credit requests and approvals from Citi's global network
- Engages with product partners and Citi's global network to identify revenue opportunities and to position certain products with clients
- Ensures periodic support discussions are held with clients and are correctly documented
- Maintains correct client legal and marketing hierarchies
- Partners with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current: FX, derivatives, Loans, LCs and other credit-related documents
- Partners with Credit Admin team to monitor usage of credit lines, and partnering with Independent Risk during client Annual Reviews
- Assists in implementation of cash transactions for Banker
**Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience/Competencies
- Bachelors/University degree
- Commercial / Corporate banking experience preferred;
- Experience in a client servicing role;
- Relationship skills and ability to maintain an effective network across the organization;
- Organizational skills are a must;
- Ability to multi-task and priorities;
- Building Relationships;
- Controls & compliance;
- Integrity & professionalism;
- Team leadership / people management;
- MS-office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Basic knowledge of trade, lending, FX and other cash products;
- English and Italian - Fluent
