Relationship Manager – Multi-Family Office Location: Milan, Italy Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are excited to announce the launch of our new multi-family office in Milan, dedicated to providing bespoke wealth management, investment advisory, and legacy planning services to high-net-worth families.
We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and nurturing client relationships while contributing to the strategic growth of our Milan office.
This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in client management, strong managerial skills, and a deep understanding of the wealth management landscape.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Assess clients' financial goals, risk profiles, and personal priorities to deliver tailored wealth management solutions in collaboration with internal specialists.
• Lead and oversee a small team of support staff, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with the firm's standards of excellence.
• Identify business development opportunities, leveraging networks to attract new clients and expand the office's presence in the Italian market.
• Coordinate with investment advisors, tax specialists, and legal teams to provide holistic, multi-disciplinary advice to clients.
• Monitor client portfolios, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to optimize performance and satisfaction.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility in Milan and beyond.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, with a network of single family offices.
• Demonstrated managerial skills, with experience leading teams and driving performance in a client-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and estate planning, ideally with knowledge of the Italian market.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with discerning clients and manage complex family dynamics.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional languages (e. g. , French or German) are a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• A robust network of contacts in Milan or Northern Italy's affluent community is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e. g. , CFA, CFP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
