Relationship Manager – Multi-Family Office Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are excited to announce the launch of our new multi-family office in Milan, dedicated to providing bespoke wealth management, investment advisory, and legacy planning services to high-net-worth families.
We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and nurturing client relationships while contributing to the strategic growth of our Milan office.
This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in client management, strong managerial skills, and a deep understanding of the wealth management landscape.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families, acting as their primary point of contact.
Assess clients' financial goals, risk profiles, and personal priorities to deliver tailored wealth management solutions in collaboration with internal specialists.
Lead and oversee a small team of support staff, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with the firm's standards of excellence.
Identify business development opportunities, leveraging networks to attract new clients and expand the office's presence in the Italian market.
Coordinate with investment advisors, tax specialists, and legal teams to provide holistic, multi-disciplinary advice to clients.
Monitor client portfolios, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to optimize performance and satisfaction.
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility in Milan and beyond.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, with a network of single family offices.
Demonstrated managerial skills, with experience leading teams and driving performance in a client-facing environment.
Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and estate planning, ideally with knowledge of the Italian market.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with discerning clients and manage complex family dynamics.
Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional languages (e. g. , French or German) are a plus.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
A robust network of contacts in Milan or Northern Italy's affluent community is highly desirable.
Relevant professional qualifications (e. g. , CFA, CFP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
