Remarketing & Residue Value Specialist
Role Description: The Remarketing & Residual Value Specialist will be responsible for supporting activities related to vehicle remarketing and residual value determination.
They will collaborate with internal and external teams to analyze data, monitor the used car market, and ensure that residual value forecasts are accurate and aligned with market trends.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor used car market trends and analyze the residual value of vehicles for different types of contracts.
Collaborate with the remarketing team to optimize the processes for selling used vehicles.
Support the management of resale offers and sales channels, including auctions and online platforms.
Provide detailed analysis of residual values and depreciation forecasts.
Collect market data and reports to support the definition of remarketing policies.
Manage and update the vehicle database based on remarketing operations.
Support the identification of opportunities to optimize returns from end-of-contract vehicles.
Monitor price trends and suggest possible corrective actions to improve residual value.
What we are looking for: Experience: 5 years of experience in a customer support or inspection role in the automotive sector, preferably in a quality control, logistics, or PDI environment.
Education: A Bachelor's degree or a relevant technical certification is a plus, with a focus on automotive, logistics, or engineering fields.
Languages: Excellent written and spoken skills in Italian and English.
Knowledge of Chinese or other European languages is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Competence in using light machinery, power tools, and Excel for data tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and an IT-driven approach to logistics.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster effective relationships across departments and with various service providers.
High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and resilience under stress, especially in high-pressure situations.
Mindset: Innovative, proactive, and process-focused, with a strong interest in continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
Strong sense of responsibility and task ownership, ensuring all processes are carried out to the highest standards and deadlines are met.
Driving License: A valid driving license is required for on-site inspections and travel between complexes and service locations.
