We are looking for two Remote Sensing & Spatial Data Experts (Optical and SAR) on behalf of our client for their location in Frascati, Italy.

- Design workflows, algorithms, and processors for generation of info-products generation, from sensors identification up to actionable information generation;

- Manage the implementation of tools and workflows to generate information products, thematic maps, analytics, and the service exploitation platform;

- Based on information need of the specific service value chain, identify the most suitable mix of sensors and acquisition modes for information generation;

- A Master's degree in STEM, with preference for Computer/Telecommunication/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, with specific courses in signal/image processing techniques;

- Deep knowledge of remote sensing data processing methodologies and tools from Earth Observation optical (including VNIR, TIR, hyperspectral) and SAR sensors, understanding of the meaning of remote sensing measurements, ability to correlate the signal with the territorial phenomena that generated it, ability to design data processing workflows optical / SAR in order to prepare the data for the subsequent analysis steps (Analysis Ready Data);

- Knowledge of GIS tools for cartographic production and for the analysis and management of spatial databases;

- Familiarity with Optical (including VNIR, TIR, hyperspectral) and SAR data processing tools, both COTS and open source;

- Familiarity with GIS tools, both COTS and open source;

- Familiarity with spatial databases, both COTS and open source;

- Knowledge of a programming language (preferably Python) is an advantage;

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
