Airswift is supporting a Leading Aviation Service Provider and is looking for two Repair Engineers to support them in Italy.

The Repair Engineer is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and preparation of temperature-controlled containers used in Air Cargo Charters.

This role requires hands-on technical skills in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, along with a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and release containers; perform routine preventative maintenance and service to ensure optimal operation. Repair or replace defective parts, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform testing of containers. Safely use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing devices. Clean containers (inside and out) and prepare them for outgoing shipments. Complete work orders accurately and understand maintenance documentation and procedures. Qualifications: High School Diploma (Diploma scuola secondaria di secondo grado)2+ years of practical, hands-on experience in aviation maintenance, general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration (Certifying Staff experience)Certifications: EASA Part 145 certification or equivalent maintenance qualification or Certified Staff Certification in Aviation Certification
