The site is located in Avellino (AV), Italy. How will you make a difference? As a R&D Engineer, reporting to the Senior Director, Design and Development BU Friction, you will be responsible to the study, formulation and continuous innovation of existing company products, alongside researching materials and developing new products, technologies, and production processes. What will your typical day look like? Study, formulation and continuous innovation of existing company productsMaterials research, development of new products, new technologies, new production processesManagement of Chemical: SDS, TDS and internal specificationsStudy, in-depth study and improvement of the production processes currently in placeAssistance in the proper execution and updating of procedures in compliance with environmental and safety obligationsStudy and understanding of the influence of raw materials on friction and physical properties, mechanical and thermomechanicalAnalysis of tribological and physical data of materials, products and raw materialsUnderstanding and practicing the use of thermomechanical, mechanical and analytical tools that can serve to obtain data aimed at product development for rail and non-rail applications in frictionStudy of new analytical and testing methods applicable to friction materialsWhat do we want to know about you? Degree in Chemistry or Chemical EngineeringExperience in a manufacturing company is considered a plusProfessional English and Italian languagesProficiency with MS OfficeQuick learner and proactiveOpen minded, curious and dynamicLegal authorization to work in EU is required.
