Research Analyst
The resource will be responsible, in particular, for analyzing TV ratings to produce TV advertising estimates.
In carrying out their activities, they will interact with the TV forecast Supervisor.
Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities/Key accountabilities: Performs daily processing related to TV media information to produce informative reports. Processes TV ratings information useful for forecasting, both editorial and advertising, to produce audience estimates and projections. Interacts with operational groups for requests related to forecast and media information. Communicates with sales agents for estimates and commercial policies. Conducts trend analyses related to new consumption methods and the evolution of measurement systems to produce reports and identify key KPIs. Produces media information presentations by interacting with operational groups and other media research units. Produces analyses and reports on investments to facilitate the advertising expenditure estimation process. Maintains the update of internal databases related to advertising investments. Education and Work Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience within media research departments or industry companies. Preferably a degree in scientific disciplines. Knowledge of the main software used in the sector: AGB – Arianna; Mediasoft – Kubik, Nielsen – AQX; MCS Environment. Knowledge of post-evaluation environments for Auditel data and TV campaigns. Excellent knowledge of sports and the dynamics of football and motorsport events. Ability to work independently and complete tasks according to provided instructions and with individual contributions. Personal Specifications/Skills: Good knowledge of English – written and spoken. Excellent knowledge of the MS Office environment – particularly Excel.
Preferable capability to develop macros in Excel. Excellent ability to use IT systems and knowledge of new AI systems (ChatGPT, Copilot). Ability to work in a team. Ability to maintain a positive attitude even during periods of high pressure while meeting deadlines. Ability to perform work activities independently based on received instructions. Attention to detail. Location: Milan
