Skills/Qualifications:
Master degree in forestry or biology.
Knowledge and skills in the field of: wood anatomy analysis, preparation of stained wood cross-sections with rotary microtome; statistics for multivariate analysis and time series analysis (R environment); ability to plan and experience in conducting field research (temperate forests); category B driving licence (valid in Europe).
Scientific achievement documented by publications in recognised journals and/or participation in scientific conferences.
Fluency in written and spoken English at least on B2 level or IELTS.
Communicative knowledge of Polish required.
Good teamworking and interpersonal skills, as well as involvement and self-reliance.
An absolute prerequisite for employment of a successful candidate in the project is documentation of his/her participation in the Doctoral School in Poland.

Additional Information THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED:
Developing skills in quantitative wood anatomy, dendroclimatic analyses, statistical analyses focused on multi-environment provenance experiments; Professional development opportunities including participation in international workshops and scientific conferences; Employment for a period of 48 months; Medical package.

Copy of diplomas.
Declaration by the Candidate that if they win the competition, the IBL will be their primary place of work.
Proof of knowledge of foreign languages.
List of publications, papers/posters, projects or other documents confirming the Candidate's scientific activity.
Certificates from completed trainings or other documents confirming the Candidate's desire to improve their own qualifications.
