Description of the research activity: Task 1: Modelling of Human behavior patterns - The researcher will define approaches and tools to capture, understand and model human behavioural patterns in relation to Behaviour and IoT technology (BeT technology), by extending existing theories, considering the possible influence of AI technologies to human decisions as well as the explainability of their recommendations. Task 2: Bi-causal interaction patterns - The researcher will investigate emerging interaction patterns between humans and BeT systems using qualitative and quantitative approaches to reason on QoE-QoS values derived from the use cases and simulations, determining correlation and bi-causality links between changes of human behaviours and the QoE-QoS. Task 3: QoE-QoS anti-pattern detection - The researcher will develop a definition of anti-patterns that accounts for QoE degradation in addition to more traditional quality aspects. The researcher will develop monitoring methods to detect (transient) QoE-QoS degradation and trace it down to possible causes, including design factors, combined with environment and human factors.
