A 3-year position for one PhD student is issued at University of L'Aquila, Italy, Department of Physical and Chemical Sciences (https://dsfc. univaq. it/en/) and financed by CETEMPS (http://cetemps. aquila. infn. it).

The research topic is focused on remote sensing of the dynamics and microphysics of clouds and precipitation using active (radar/lidar) and passive microwave and near-infrared radiometers from ground and satellite.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Atmospheric Science and Technology or a similar academic degree obtained abroad that is declared to be equivalent or recognized as equivalent to the above academic degrees.

The qualifications of the applicants will be evaluated, and if found appropriate, there will be an interview.
