**THE POSITION
Reporting to the Reservation Manager, the reservation agest assists Aman guests with their booking needs.
This position will be based in Venice, Italy.
Responsibilities**:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting and advising guests who may be choosing from a variety of rooms options
- Making reservations for guests based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances
- Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers' desired travel dates
- Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers
- Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations
- Property managemente sytems such as Opera System
- Selling and promoting reservation services
- Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process
- Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as upgraded accommodations
- Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation
Qualifications:
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer-service experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English, multi-lingual is a plus
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
