For this ambitious project, we are seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to lead our team and play a key role in the success of this prestigious new property. What We Offer? In addition to overseeing reservations, you will play a central role in the hotel's opening and in fostering a healthy, collaborative work culture.
As the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales optimization process by actively listening to customers' needs, creating a harmonious working environment where every team member can share their knowledge and contribute to achieving the common goal: maximizing revenue. Your Key Responsibilities:Oversee the entire reservations process, ensuring personalized, seamless service for each guest. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, revenue and front office teams to optimize room management and meet occupancy goals. Monitor market trends and propose strategies to improve booking performance. Ensure a smooth and proactive booking experience, anticipating guest needs. Manage the reservations team, ensuring they continuously optimize sales by actively listening to customers and striving for ongoing performance improvement. Supervise revenue management activities to maximize profitability.
Audit operating standards & procedures in the Reservations Department to ensure they comply with company practices and LQA/Forbes standardsRequirements:Proven experience in luxury hospitality in senior reservations roles. In-depth knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and revenue management techniques (Opera, Synxis and IDeaS G3). Previous experience in revenue management is highly welcomed and valued. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
