Resident Engine Technical Specialist - Cameri (No)

Within the Military Customer Support Organization, as Resident Engine Technical Specialist you will be located at Customer's military base in Cameri (NO) at 1°RMV (Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli), accordingly to Contract agreements conditions between Military Customer and Avio Aero.
This role requires your permanent presence at Customer's military base with the primary task of providing direct support on technical and logistic aspects and you will be the reference person and the direct interface between Avio Aero and Italian Air Force.
**Essential Responsibilities
- Manage, as primary interface, any concerns and technical evidences arising from Engine Operators (Reparti Operativi) and maintenance activities on Engines and Modules at Customer site
- Investigate for problem identification and propose possible solutions to support Customer in their final decision
- Lead and ensure effective exchange of engine technical information between AvioAero and Italian Air Force with particular focus on engine defects and relative troubleshooting analysis
- Liaise with other Customer operational departments and Avio Aero Engineering and Program teams in order to ensure timely and effective exchange of technical and logistics information
- Accountable for evaluating Technical Instructions (STO/I, STO/C, PMTD etc. )
as well as Change Proposals issued by Industries
- Manage the preparation of Technical Orders (IT/ITP/NT/PTA/PTAI) and support in drafting QA (Query Answer) and RDR (Re-use Deviation Report) to support maintenance activities in accordance with National Rules
- Support in compilation of comments to Company Reports for closing of Occurrence Report and Defect Investigation
- Responsible for fleet data analysis and fleet management as well as data monitoring relevant to the management of life monitored parts to support Customer maintenance planning
- Accountable for the analysis of Engine and Engine Parts data from Engine Logbook
- Lead the improvement of maintenance procedures
**Qualifications/Requirments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a high school diploma with previous solid experience in similar role
- Thorough knowledge of military engines, its maintenance modularity, accessories functionality, monitoring systems as well as interfaces with aircraft
- Knowledge of configuration control rules, processes and procedures
- Knowledge of Engine Logbook for consultation and analysis of Engine and Engine Parts data
- Ability to read and understand Nomenclature Catalogues, engine Technical Publications, regulations and applicable procedures (maintenance manuals, parts catalog, calibration procedures) as well as Change Proposal, Technical disposition and Repair Schemes/Instruction
- Ability to evaluate by means of ESS (Engineering Support System) ground support system, EHM (Engine Health Monitoring) subsystem, data from EMU/DEM to support maintenance activities, diagnosis of possible faults and to monitor the health conditions of the Engine
- Ability to evaluate area of improvement of existing maintenance procedures (ML1 and ML2)
- Be familiar with CDS (Configuration Data Set) management for configuring and setting monitoring functions of EMS (Engine Monitoring System) based on EBS (Engine Build Standard)
- Strong Customer mindset
- Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English
- Eligible for NATO Security Clearance
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
**Desired Characteristics
- Knowledge of the EJ200 Engine: modules, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems as well as interfaces with aircraft, Programme documents and/or of the EJ-Z Procedure to be applied as well as national regulation issued by IT MoD and Logistic Command relevant to the Weapon System in general
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with the MRO military environment
- Knowledge of NAM (Normativa Aeronautica Militare) and National Quality Directives AER(EP). P-P145 (EMAR 145)
- Customer / Company IT systems & tools literate (SiLEF, ASM, SAP, etc)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
