AVL Italia a job in Italy (IT) as They provide professional and customer-oriented services according to defined processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services by providing feedback to the relevant AVL departments.

Responsibilities: Prepare and support the preparation of Service activities (preventive and corrective maintenance for automation, instruments, and devices at the customer's site).

Perform calibrations of instruments and devices according to available guidelines and competence level.

Provide support for malfunctions related to the automation system, such as the connection of application systems and the integration of special measuring devices and instruments.

Optimize automation system settings, adjust controller parameters, calculation formulas, set specific engine values, and monitoring limits.

Analyze customer requests, manage and resolve them independently or with the support of specialists in AVL's local or global network.

Assist the customer with day-to-day requests during test bench activities.

Perform troubleshooting activities in case of system malfunction/incorrect measurement (problem-solving activities).

Document the services performed using defined templates (calibration protocols, Service reports).

Provide useful feedback on product optimization potentials and services to the support organization and relevant BUs.

Profile: Technical High School / University of Applied Sciences (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Vehicle Engineering).

Knowledge and passion for powertrain and vehicle technology and related applications.

Passion for Automotive Testing.

Good use of electrical measuring instruments (Tester, Multimeter, Power Analyzer).

Good programming skills (Matlab, Simulink).

Good knowledge of the English language.

Excellent knowledge of the Windows Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Availability to travel.
