European Project Manager

**Overview
SOS Telefono Azzurro is looking for a Euro Project Manager who can bring to the Organisation a new perspective of growth in terms of new educational projects focused on European funds opportunities.
You will join one of the most famous and historical brand in Italy operating in children's protection, rights and education.
To be successful to the selection process you should have a strong interest and passion about technology and children rights.
**About the Role
The Responsible of the Projects area will work on these main activity in order to:
- Prospecting European fund opportunities related to Telefono Azzurro activities and projects
- Design proposals for European grant
- Managing/coordinating projects as required, including liaising with funders and partners
- Planning and implementing project activities, keeping records and providing reports to relevant stakeholders
- Developing and leading on the implementation of project plans, including time plans, detailed technical activities
- Delivery of project reports, internally and externally
- Checking and approving project management accounts, plans, project budgets and project financial monitoring
- Project financial reporting to funders, in cooperation with Administration Team
- Anticipating resource and delivery issues and risks, identify solutions agreeing these with relevant stakeholders and implementing them for the benefit of the team/project
- Managing key relationship funders with the Presidency
- Management of the project's whole life cycle
- Definition of the steps, objectives and implementation models in relation to the drafting of new projects
- Management and coordination of project partners
- Management of the relationships/contacts with possible funders of the project (public/private) developing relations of trust.
**About You
We are looking for a resource with the following requirements:
**Education
Degree in Economics, Marketing, Fundraising, Communication or specific certification within the area of this role
**Experience
- 5 years' experience as Project Manager or similar role in managing complex national and international projects in the nonprofit sector
- Demonstrable successful experience gaining EU private and public grants
- Experience in dealing with national and international project partners
**It will be considered a plus if you have**:
- Experience of working within the educational sector
- Experience of cross-sectorial partnership working
**Technical skills and knowledge
- Deep knowledge of Project Management and grant making in EU
- Education and knowledge of EU institution and politics, Project Management and grant making
- Knowledge of Child Protection Policy and digital opportunity's
- High level of English (B2, C2)
- Knowledge of another language spoken in EU
- Grant writing

**About Us
Telefono Azzurro was founded in 1987 in Bologna: the promoter of the initiative was Ernesto Caffo, at the time associate professor of Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Modena.
The association was created to listen to children's requests for help, a concrete response to the "right to listen" recognized to the child by the International Convention on the Rights of the Child signed by the United Nations.
Today, Telefono Azzurro offers helpline and hotline (telephone, mobile, web, chat, apps, social network), and promotes prevention initiatives, through education and awareness projects in for students, educators, general public and policymakers.
