Hitachi Rail is seeking a self-motivated O&M Manuals & Training Manager to manage a team of experienced writers and ensure proper interface management between the Design and Build team and the O&M team.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing a group of experienced technical writers to produce customers' operation and maintenance documentationEnsuring on-time provision of O&M deliverables and milestones in accordance with project scheduleDeveloping an understanding of how our customers use the manuals and what content needs are helpfulReviewing and implementing customer feedbackIdentifying opportunities for process improvementAbout UsA career at Hitachi Rail will help create a legacy. AccountabilitiesThe O&M Manuals & Training Manager will have the following accountabilities:

Manage a group of experienced technical writers to produce customers' operation and maintenance documentationEnsure preparation and delivery of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Training Program PlanEnsure the preparation of Technical specifications for subcontractor's manuals and training coursesParticipate in projects, bidding, and delivery phases within project scheduleRequired Skills/KnowledgeThe ideal candidate will have:

Pioneering SpiritIntegrityTwo to five years' experience as a project manager or people manager with a technical documentation teamMinimum 3 years' railway system engineering experience and knowledge of the integrated systems that comprise a metro systemAbility to develop a working knowledge of technical products, processes, and applicationsDesired Skills/KnowledgeThe ideal candidate will also have:
