We are seeking an O&M Manuals & Training Manager to join our team at Hitachi Rail.

This role is responsible for managing a group of experienced writers to produce customers' operation and maintenance documentation, arrange training courses, and ensure proper interface management between the Design and Build team and the O&M team.

The position is based in Pistoia, Italy.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of technical writers to produce high-quality operation and maintenance documentation;Ensure timely delivery of O&M manuals and milestones in accordance with project schedule and budget;Develop and deliver Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Training Program Plan;Prepare Technical specifications for subcontractor's manuals and training courses;Collaborate with the team to prioritize feature release work and implement content improvements;Understand customer needs and review/implement feedback to improve manual quality;Identify opportunities for process improvement and coordinate implementation;Review and approve operation and maintenance manuals delivered by subcontractors;Participate in projects, bidding, and delivery phases within project schedule. Required Skills: Integrity2-5 years of experience as a project manager or people manager with a technical documentation team;Minimum 3 years of railway system engineering experience and knowledge of integrated systems;Ability to learn new technical skills quickly;Knowledge and experience in railway Technical-Logistic support documentation;International experience and ability to manage global projects;Negotiation Skills;Leadership Skills;Experience in modern Lean and Agile Organization. Salary: Estimated salary range: €60, 000 - €80, 000 per year, depending on location and experience.
