Location: Milanofiori, Italy

Company: Multinational operating in the industrial plant engineering sector, we are selecting a Senior Buyer for the implementation of staff aimed at becoming, in the medium term, the Coordinator of the Purchasing Office.

Responsibilities: Management of a team composed of junior and senior resources; identification of medium and long-term objectives; development of a team growth plan based on company developments.

Setting up and managing tender processes.

Requesting offers and aligning them accordingly.

Negotiation and finalization of purchasing conditions for orders of materials (components and machines for the realization of mechanical and electrical plants) and subcontracting contracts (piping, electricians, insulators, and duct installers).

Coordination with the technical office and construction site for all aspects related to procurement activities.

Scouting for the search for new suppliers and subcontractors; qualification of those deemed suitable.

Definition of agreements and framework contracts.

Maintenance and management of relationships with suppliers.

Professional Experience and Education: At least five years of professional experience in the role of buyer, which has allowed the acquisition of skills and knowledge of the market in the industrial plant engineering sectors such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and data centers, both mechanical and electrical.

Preferably a diploma in thermotechnical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Skills: Good knowledge of IT applications for the management of the process of requesting and purchasing materials.

Good knowledge of the Office package (Outlook).

Good knowledge of written and spoken English/French.

Completing the profile are energy, good relational skills, and negotiation capabilities.

Work Location: Assago Milanofiori.

Working Hours: Full-time.

Contract: Permanent position with salary to be defined during the interview.
