**Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**:

- Setting up tables according to the restaurant's standards

- Arranging table settings, linens, and tableware

- Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant

- Escorting guests to their tables

- Make our guests feel at ease and create a great experience

- Assisting with the service of beverages

- Ensure a coherent wine and beverage concept, aligned with the kitchen concept

- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

- Ensure an outstanding and smooth evening service

- Closing of the restaurant in coordination with the Maitre

- Clean agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines, and hygiene requirements

**Core Competencies**:

- Fluent in English & Italian is a must

- 2+ years of hospitality experience is a plus

- Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general

- Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage can be necessary

- Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism

- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests

- Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel

- Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations

- Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions

- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
