What will you be doing Restaurant Manager:
**Operations Management**:
- Oversee daily F&B operations, ensuring smooth service.
- Monitor food preparation and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain inventory control and reduce wastage.
**Financial Management**:
- Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs and expenses.
- Analyze sales and revenue reports, adjusting pricing or menu items as needed.
- Maximize profitability through efficient cost control and upselling strategies.
- Properly execute end-of-night revenue closeouts, including all reports.
**Menu Planning & Supplier Management**:
- Collaborate with chefs and bartenders on menu design and innovation.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for quality food and beverage products.
- Ensure stock levels are adequate and meet business needs.
**Staff Management & Training**:
- Strong leadership skills
- Train, coach, motivate and supervise F&B staff.
- Develop schedules and assign tasks to employees.
- Ensure all employees are following the correct break procedure.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure excellent customer service.
**Customer Service & Guest Experience**:
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure service quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Create promotional events and offers to attract guests.
**Work Experience**What experience will you bring to this role?
- 3 to 5 years of experience in food and beverage service, with at least x years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the latest Food and Beverage Trends, primarily related to the Milan area
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, and supplier negotiations
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Ability to analyse sales trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Strong **communication and interpersonal skills** for guest relations.
- Ability to **work under pressure** in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to **work weekends, holidays**as required and ensure the department is properly covered.
- Experience in shift planning
- A passion for coaching and mentoring colleagues
- Professional and clear communication skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English language
- Native or near-native Italian speaker
- Proficient with computers ( Microsoft package )
- Existing experience within the Hilton network is an advantage
