Retail Merchandising - Footwear
Position**:
The Retail Merchandiser Footwear manages all the activities related to buying, performing analyses, weekly sales reports and forecasts, briefing documents to the design team, retail presentations, and buying guidelines.
Supports the coordination of the retail merchandising activity at the WW level to fully address market opportunities while maintaining brand consistency across collections, markets, and channels of distribution.
- Monitoring the business performance of Footwear by sell-thru, sell-in, sell-out, best sellers, and slow movers analysis
- Monitoring sales and developing sales forecasts optimizing the stock level across channels and eventually proposing transfers, cancellations, and replenishments to HQ functions and regional teams
- Guidelines to the buying team during the buying campaign, defining the "must buy" and the product assortment, presenting the Collection, and ensuring that the output of buying is consistent with the direction of the Brand, blind orders, and sales forecast
- Reviewing the retail buying with merchandising managers & regional buyers during seasonal selling campaigns, monitoring the buying process, and constant support to the local teams
- Analyzing sales daily and creating insights for Top Management
- Preparing retail Product Brief for Style Dep and Marketing Dep
**Profile**:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, or in related field
- At least 7/8 years of experience as a Retail Merchandiser for luxury consultancy firms or Merchandiser/Buyer
- Strong ability and competence in quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales performance and forecast in addition to product report/feedback
- Great sensibility on product and knowledge of shoe competitors offer and positioning
- Proactive, dynamic, strong relational skills and attitude in team working
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint and Excel); BO, BI, Proj, and SAP experience preferred
