Retail Planner (Fashion)
We are looking for a **Planner **to join our Planning team in Brugherio (Monza).

Reporting into a Planning Manager, in this role you will provide an objective link between Buyers and Sales Platforms, ensuring the long-term profitability of our sales assets and products as well as maximizing sales opportunities in the short term.
In this role you will work closely with buyers and will be responsible for your own product area in the assigned category.
This will involve in-depth demand and sales analysis to determine the optimum positioning of products and the effective rotation and management of merchandise.
**Some Of Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
**Sales and margins maximization**:
- Prioritize on-air sales and productivity maximization.
- Strategize items to maximize selling exposures
- Identify and react to opportunities that include promo handles
- Monitor and review sales performance
- Maintain category margin requirements
- Partner with Buying to analyze business and develop short and mid-term strategic plans.
- Partner with Buying to establish seasonal strategic plans, including rotation of shows and products
**Stock Management
- Manage and action overall inventory to assigned goal.
- Analyze item sales performances and determine next actions
- Identify lines to replenish and propose quantities for key lines, being responsible for developing strategies for their long-term life cycle
- To identify stock to be returned to vendor (RTV) and actioned in a timely manner, proposing exit strategies for problem lines.
- Identify and action markdown and liquidation inventory, ensuring that the correct status, pricing and liquidation strategy is applied in accordance with QVC's guidelines.
- To prioritize management of aged inventory
- Identify and communicate opportunities within category assortment based on sales trends and gaps in the inventory.
**Reporting
- Partner with Buying and Commerce Platforms to forecast, plan and recap Events
- Forecast sales and inventory providing information for the open to buy process.
**To be successful in this role you'll need to have**:
- A degree in Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics or in a relevant matter.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role (ideally with a focus on planning/forecasting/inventory/pricing analysis, within the retail sector
- Experience of being responsible for a product area and stock management is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Fluency in Italian and English is a must
- Ability to adapt to a fast pace and "live" commercial environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Great attention to details
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
