Retail Sales Manager - Italy

From the Nueva Pescanova Group, we are looking for a Retail Sales Manager in Bologna (Pescanova Italy) to strengthen our retail team.
Mission Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the Italian retail market.
You will lead and manage the retail business to expand the customer base and strengthen existing customer relationships.
In addition, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail sector.
In terms of organisational structure, you will work under the direction of the Country Manager, George Georgopoulos, to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
Main responsibilities Sales Performance & Commercial Action Plans Comply with the sales budget and implement commercial action plans. Drive growth in the retail business. Develop and present commercial proposals to potential clients. Define and implement strategies to attract new retail customers. Reactivate dormant customer accounts. Coordinate the development and launch of new products tailored for specific customers. Provide assistance in developing trading operations when needed. Report on sales progress regularly. Market, Price, and Customer Analysis Conduct thorough analysis of the retail market, pricing trends, and customer behaviour. Monitor and analyze the prices of the client portfolio to ensure competitiveness. Identify new sales channels and business opportunities. What We'd Like to Hear from You: A degree in Business Administration or a related field. Proven experience in the FMCG sector is a must. Experience in the seafood sector will be highly valued. A minimum of 5-7 years in similar roles with demonstrated success. Proficiency in English at a professional level is required. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Where Will Your Workplace Be? You will be based in Bologna, Italy (Via Ugo Bassi, 7, 40121 BO) and report directly to the Country Manager of Italy.
You will collaborate closely with teams from Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, and others.
