Revenue Manager
Scope of Work:
As Revenue Manager, I fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, plus our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.
By embracing the Six Senses vision and values, I will deliver an exceptional experience for guests and develop hosts to be the very best they can be. In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Revenue department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.
By keeping abreast of industry intelligence, trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills, I will continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort and spa and for Six Senses.
I will be responsible for the setup of PMS & CRS to guide and evaluate the room selling strategies.
I will also setup the inventory availability, pricing and daily fluctuations that will be discussed with the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) and coordinated with the reservations team for selling guidelines.
I will develop overall pricing strategies along with the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) and Group Director of Revenue Management to ensure all target market segments are developed for the long-term benefit of the property's business and growth.
I will decide and implement free allotment releases and close outs for the resorts by category and update this information in all channels to gain maximum effect and maintain a smooth selling process.
Review all competitive shops on a regular basis and identify selling strategies and market trends of the competition set.
I will countercheck all reservations daily to ensure they are completed with all necessary guest information, profile information and rate/market/source codes.
I will continually focus onreviewing cancellations, adjustments, no-shows as well as groups, blocks and allotments.
I will ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
I will liaise and develop sales strategies with the Director of Food and Beverage and Spa & Wellness Director to maximize the revenue across all revenue streams ensuring all distribution channels are optimized and correctly loaded.
I will also monitor pick-up patterns, lead times, business and market trends.
Interaction and communications between departments under my control and other departments within the resort are clear and effectively maintained to support the smooth running of the resort.
I will perform any additional duties given to me by the Director of Sales & Marketing, Groups Director of Revenue and/or General Manager.
Qualification:
To execute the position of Revenue Manager, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results.
I possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management and more than three years' experience in a similar hotel role.
I am a personally involved, visible and proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the property's prominent position within the market.
I possess a well-developed capability for strategic decision-making and a track record of proven results in the areas of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, host satisfaction, revenue and profit.
In terms of frontline rooms management, I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.
My financial acumen positions me as a business savvy leader with demonstrated financial understanding and interpretation of reports plus cost and inventory control.
