Revenue Manager
For two small 5-star hotels in the centre of Milan, The Plein Hotel and The Glamore Milano Duomo, we are looking for a profile of Revenue Manager who will report directly to the Hospitality Director of the Group. This role is crucial in optimizing both Room Revenue and Digital Marketing for hotels and F&B outlets on websites (internal/external), imagery and content. Social Media excluded.
Revenue Management Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy. Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation to identify revenue opportunities. Conduct daily pick-up analysis, adjust pricing and inventory strategies as necessary. Monitor and manage distribution channels, ensuring optimal revenue and rate positioning. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages. Utilize revenue management systems (PMS, Channel Manager, RM software) effectively to support decision-making. Digital Marketing Key Responsibilities: Be responsible for the execution of content creation as well as the briefing to creative agencies (including copy writing, photo/video shootings) ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning. Drive the positioning and activation of the F&B outlets on the local market. Develop & implement local marketing activities (including event strategy) aiming to engage with locals and increase capture ratio from in-house guests. Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to share contents and activities. Implement brand direction on new websites (internal/external), imagery and content. Manage OTA updates, text and photography. Maintain and coordinate all video and photography updates and audits. Work with appropriate hotel teams to manage reputation review sites. Ensure the property is represented on all quality Internet sites that have the potential to deliver business. Assist the property in developing promotions for various campaigns, bearing in mind the strategy and objectives of the promotion, as well as the necessary conditions. Work with the Sales team to ensure the property is correctly represented in consortia websites. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry. Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing within the hospitality industry. Operational knowledge of Opera Cloud. Proven track record of implementing successful revenue management and digital marketing strategies. Proficiency in revenue management and CRM software and tools. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
