In our Instruments and EGSE business unit we are developing electronic units for microsatellites and cubesats including Radio Frequency payloads, radar instruments ands data link systems. Our systems are currently at the core of innovative satellite earth exploration missions (e. g. SATURN ) or integrated as satellite subsystems for national and international space programs.

In this context we are looking for an experienced RF System Engineer capable of designing and developing cutting edge space-born RF systems, with an extensive experience in Space RF system design and capable of defining and implementing specific system trade-offs to be defined according to the applicable space standards. The candidate will enforce our development teams in both our Rome and Milan offices.

Main tasks and responsibilities: Design, realization and testing of RF boards;Up/Down conversion and mixing stages design;RF units qualification and production;RF simulation;Preparation of the project technical documentation;Specific skills: Schematic design tool suites from CadenceSkilled in communication systems, transceivers, and sensors(as a plus) Fundamentals of signal processing and data analysis(as a plus) Fundamentals of firmware programming (C, micro-controllers)(as a plus) Experience in Signal IntegrityMS Windows / Linux and office suite for documentationEducation and experience: BsC or MsC in Electronics engineeringProfessional experience in similar application fieldsExperience in RF design for space / new space missionsExperience in space qualification processes of RF modules
