About the position Based in Rome, Italy, at the Alliance Headquarters, and under the supervision of the Manager of Technology Integration, the Analyst will be part of the IT Systems Integration Unit.
The incumbent will support the management of the life cycle of internal applications that facilitate the organization's business processes.
This includes the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, satellite applications of the ERP, and other in-house developed or third-party business applications.
Responsibilities Utilize specialist knowledge to guide solution development and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support application delivery by reviewing deployment options and selecting the most suitable methodology based on business needs.
Gather and document requirements for enhancements or modifications to current processes and applications.
Act proactively and creatively to develop applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
Apply expertise in incident and problem management processes to prevent system failures and resolve issues with minimal impact on business operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into existing systems.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of applications to ensure quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new or updated applications.
Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement to optimize functionality and user experience.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Previous relevant work experience (preferably a minimum of 3 years).
Experience with ERP information systems project implementations, preferably within an international organization.
Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
Understanding of Business Intelligence development processes and techniques (e. g. , Power BI / Fabric).
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and solve problems effectively.
Ability to work independently with initiative within assigned areas.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Strong client orientation and a service-focused approach.
Benefits Terms of employment This is a locally recruited position based in Rome, Italy at the Alliance Headquarters.
All benefits are denominated and paid in Euro.
The salary is level 6 , on a scale of 14 levels, with level 14 being the highest.
The salary range starts from Euro 43, 306 per annum.
The Alliance offers an attractive remuneration package that includes a competitive salary, leave provisions, medical and life insurance, and non-contributory retirement plan.
The contract will be for a period of 1 year , subject to a probationary period of 6 months, and is renewable based on performance and availability of funds.
