We're looking for someone amazing to join us at Getir as our Rider Safety Manager.

You'll ultimately work to keep our riders safe while they deliver to our customers, work to reduce road traffic accident rates and ensure that we always put Rider safety first!

**What you will do**:

- Develop effective policies and procedures relating to Rider Safety

- Implement Rider procedures and make sure it is adhered to/keeping up to date with law and regulations e. g.

accident reporting, trends and insurance claims

- Maintain an up to date record of all rider incidents and ensure it is readily available for inspection

- Manage all processes related to courier safety behaviour and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders

- Conduct regular site audits/inspections, report on findings and advise on possible actions.

- Manage all process related to fines and penalties i. e payment and recollection process

- Liaise with the wider Rider Operations team to create and implement a strategy for the reduction in road traffic accident rates and improved rider safety.

- Coach and train field staff to implement rider safety principles and programmes

**Requirements**:

**What you need**:

- 3 to 5 years experience in Rider/Courier safety

- Prior experience developing Safety processes from scratch and executing them, ideally in delivery related businesses

- Experience in planning, performance metrics, process improvement and risk oriented perception.

- Resilience to ambiguity and ability to start from scratch, and a passion for keeping riders safe!

- Excellent communication skills

- Fluent in English & Italian
