Offer DescriptionDevelopment of biotechnological processes fed with pre-fermented effluents and biological residues (acidogenic fermentation) for the production of polyunsaturated fatty acids to be used as ingredients in the feed, pharma, cosmetic, and biobased chemical industry.

Development of the product recovery processes and of the integrated analytical procedures required for the accurate monitoring, assessment, and optimization of the developed processes on a pilot scale.

Development of hydrolytic biological pre-treatments for the conversion of waste protein fractions from the aquaculture sector and poultry farming into protein hydrolysates, e. g. , peptides, oligo-peptides, and amino acids, to be then used as ingredients in the feed, pharma, cosmetic, and biobased chemical industry.

Development of the product recovery and purification procedures and optimization of all developed processes on a pilot scale.
