As a leading provider of Risk Management solutions in the EMEA market, Prometeia is looking to strengthen its International Delivery Team for Egypt , by hiring a Risk & Financial Planning Consultant with proven experience in the fields of Risk Integration, Scenario Analysis, ICAAP and Stress Testing. PROMETEIA OVERVIEW Prometeia creates value by integrating analytical models, customer data, market feeds and economic scenarios to support decision-making processes and regulatory compliance. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is the largest of Prometeia business areas, and is the cornerstone of Prometeia's reputation in the international market. The thematic areas covered by the ERM Area include: Credit Risk; ALM, Market and Liquidity Risk; Climate Risk & ESG Programs; Risk & Financial Planning; Governance, Risk & Compliance; Credit Intelligence Optimization & Strategy; Pricing & Financial Engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will collaborate with a specialized team of business consultants and risk advisors, operating within different projects in the field of Risk & Financial Planning. This includes: Design of methodological frameworks to integrate Credit, Market, Liquidity and Non-Financial Risks with consistent macro-economic scenarios; Deliver quantitative analysis and simulations for ICAAP, Recovery Planning, development of Key Risk Indicators for the CRO area; Deliver functional approaches to integrate Risk and Performance metrics for CFO area, to support MIS, Strategic Planning, Budgeting; Implementation of Integrated Stress Testing solutions, including input data collection, software parameterization and reporting design. METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED The ideal candidates had developed 3-8 years of experience in one of the following areas: ICAAP and ILAAP; Stress Testing; Risk Integration & Reporting; Recovery Planning. The candidates has also a demonstrated knowledge of Bank's financial statements, IFRS accounting principles, BCBS and CBE regulatory framework. TECHNICAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED Excellent Microsoft Office skills e. g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access; Knowledge of DBRMS and data management tools (SQL server); Practical application of statistical modelling techniques; Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software (e. g. R) or other data mining tools; Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, VBA, SPARK, Matlab, etc. ) is a strong plus. PROJECT SKILLS REQUIRED Effective communicator in a multi-national and multi-discipline environment; Demonstrable experience of delivering Risk Management projects; Self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take initiative; Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail; Assertive and excellent communication, presentation and inter-personal skills; Time management skills to meet required deadlines; OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED Fluency in English and Arabic languages is mandatory (at least C1); Proficiency in Italian or French is considered a strong plus; Excellent organizational and technical skills; Teamwork attitude, flexibility and proactivity; Problem solving skills and good interpersonal skills. WHAT WE OFFER: WORK LOCATION Starting from September 2024, Prometeia Egypt will be relocated in a new refurbished office of The GrEEK Campus (Downtown), a location easily reachable from any part of Cairo metropolitan area.
