About the roleWe're looking for a data-savvy risk analyst who lives and breathes payment metrics and loves turning complex data into actionable insights. You'll be our early warning system, monitoring fraud and dispute patterns across multiple merchant accounts while crafting recommendations that keep our risk metrics healthy. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze dispute and fraud metrics across multiple merchant accountsCreate and maintain comprehensive weekly risk reports for stakeholdersPerform deep-dive analyses into risk factors (countries, banks, BINs)Track compliance with card scheme programs (VISA, Mastercard)Identify emerging risk patterns and propose mitigation strategiesGenerate and maintain risk monitoring dashboardsProvide data-driven recommendations for risk optimizationCollaborate with payment processors on risk management initiativesDevelop and implement early warning systems for risk metricsCreate and automate reporting workflows for efficient monitoringQualifications2+ years of experience in risk analysis, fraud prevention, or a similar roleStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysisExperience with JSON data parsing and manipulationExperience with data visualization and reportingAbility to translate complex data into clear recommendationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with multiple stakeholdersProactive problem-solving approachNice to haveUnderstanding of payment processing and risk metricsExperience with high-risk merchant accountsBackground in subscription-based business modelsKnowledge of card scheme compliance programsExperience with Tableau or similar BI toolsFamiliarity with payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc. )Understanding of payment orchestration platformsExperience with fraud prevention tools (Ethoca, Verifi)LocationRuby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone.
