He will be part of a team of eight developers and will report hierarchically to the operations director and functionally to the technical manager of the office.

He will have to collaborate with transversal teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to ensure the seamless integration of software and hardware components and with the sales and customer support teams to collect feedback and improve the software based on customer needs.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and maintain PLC software programs for robotic pre-feed and palletizing systems.

Work with hardware engineering team to integrate software with machine components.

Implement algorithms and control logic to ensure efficient machine operation.

Debug and troubleshoot PLC code, if necessary.

Participate in the commissioning of machines at customer sites, ensuring correct functionality.

Perform thorough software testing to identify and resolve any issues.

Collaborate with service engineers to address software challenges during commissioning.

Provide remote technical support to customers, respond to requests and resolve software issues.

Create comprehensive documentation for your PLC software, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Keep software documentation up to date with revisions and improvements.

Knowledge And Skills

Excellent knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, Codesys, Robot Kawasaki and ABB.

Education And Linguistic Knowledge

Diploma in electronics or Degree in Robot Engineer/Automation.

Good knowledge of the English language.
