Roofing & Siding Construction Project Manager

The current open position for Production Manager is an on-site position that requires all facets of production management, including but not limited to ordering materials, scheduling labor crews, scheduling with homeowners, coordinating all applicable trades, reviewing invoices, and updating our CRM platform. The position is a full-time salaried opportunity and occasionally some nights and weekends may be required.
The right candidate will facilitate all aspects of planning, estimating, logistics, and customer service for 50+ roofing/siding jobs per month. Primary activities include:
Facilitate and manage multiple roofing/siding jobs simultaneously (10-15 builds per week)Manage master schedule for all roofing/siding jobsPrepare roof/siding material estimates and purchase ordersCoordinate material orders and deliveryFacilitate subcontractor schedules and updatesCommunicate process and schedules with customersAudit and approve supplier and subcontractor invoicesResolve issues with suppliers, subcontractors, and customersDevelop and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliersOversee roof/siding build quality controlPicking up checks from homeownersRequirements Demonstrated track record of working with customers and providing an exceptional customer experienceWorking knowledge of the roofing and siding industry and installation practices5+ years experience in roof and siding material estimating and purchase order compilationExperience with managing and mentoring junior team membersExceptional organizational skills, ability to balance and prioritize hundreds of activities and tasksProven track record of holding self and others accountableAppreciation for, and tendency to deploy, standard processes and operating proceduresComfortable with computers and web-based software platformsCompetent in maneuvering Office 365 applications, especially ExcelExceptional communication skillsA knack for customer de-escalationEducation/Knowledge: High School Diploma, additional training, and/or relevant educationSpanish speaking desiredSix Sigma or similar training desiredAbility to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
