The St. Regis Rome is casting for a Room Service Supervisor.
Reporting to the F&B Service & In Room Dining Manager, the Room Service Supervisor will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for F&B.

**Position summary
The Room Service Supervisor knows the finest details of our menu and can't wait to share her/his expertise with our guests. When they dine with us, her /his warm greeting, flawless table settings, and her/his friendly demeanor do not go unnoticed. No matter the day, the Room Service Supervisor sets out to provide each guest with a dining experience that will be remembered long after his or her stay.
**Critical tasks
- Represent and be the face of the hotel/bar to all guests.
- Coordinate the room service team
- Take room service orders over the phone.
- Answer questions on menu selections, and check with kitchen staff.
- Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
- Place and log call back for room service order.
- Notify guests and management of delays in service delivery
- Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
- Set tables according to type of service standards.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Update MICROS system menus as required.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines
- Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
**What we're looking for
- Experience in Room Service in luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands
- Possess a good command of English and Italian
- Great storytelling skills.
- An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills.
- Good knowledge or experience in F&B
- Good organization skills with an attention to detail.
- A team Player with flexible & positive attitude.
- Good leadership and training experience.
- Passion for the hospitality industry.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment & remain calm under pressure.
- Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling.
- Availability to work late nights, weekends and bank holiday as we operate 365 days a year.
