Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.

We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

Reporting to the Rivalta Plant Materials, Planning & Fulfillment Manager, as Rotating Components Material Leader you will develop and integrate processes that meet business needs across the Rotating Components area.

You will be responsible to guarantee the execution of the production plan, ensure correct materials inbound to support production plan and rate, leading a team of materials professionals.

Moreover, as Material Leader you will be a key player for the interaction with the customer & program management.

**Essential Responsibilities

- Define and implement operating rhythms to enable attainment of assigned targets in terms of On Time Delivery, Inventory optimization and Shop Cost Output

- Drive effective execution for planning and scheduling activities aligned with Customer demand for the Rotating Components organization

- Collaborate with Business Unit, Sourcing and other involved departments, in order to ensure material flow according with the production scheduling, to meet Customer demands and securing execution of the production plan

- Embrace and promote a real Lean mindset, by supporting necessary initiatives and projects aimed to spread material pull strategy within the organization

- Support QMI review with a focus on risks on materials inputs and ensure LOB to customer on main programs

- Be involved in strategic planning and budgeting within Rotating Components

- Ensure correct Inventory monitoring & project to reach target assigned

- Collaborate with the COE leader to identify opportunities & GAP to be address on Inventory, rate

- Track performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues

**Qualifications/Requirements

- High School Technical Diploma with relevant and consistent experience in Logistics area, Supply Chain Materials Planning/Fulfillment or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

- Significant experience in manufacturing in roles such as Lean, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory management, Material management

- Excellent SAP knowledge

- Ability to interact with Customer or Supplier strategically

- Fluent Italian and Good English Knowledge (speaking & writing) Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
