ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER Location : Client's Office_ MILAN, Italy/Engineering Department Working hours : 8 hours / 5 days ( possible to work 2 days/week from REMOTE) Contract duration: 12 months, with possible extension Availability : ASAP Job Description Lead the Rotating Equipment Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.

Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow Implement the Company guidelines and KPI monitoring within the Project Development Technology know how and Commercial support Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development.

Review technical tender documentation Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry Review and make technical evaluation of machinery bids received by Vendors Prepare material take-off to support construction cost estimate Support Lead in defining cost evaluation for machinery and other equipment related to Machinery department Support Lead to define machinery department engineering man hours estimate Support Project Machinery Lead to review Contractual technical documentation and requirements Optimize engineering standards while ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e. g.

technical supply specification, mechanical data sheets) Support Machinery Lead in technical negotiation with vendors.

Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering documents Prepare technical tabulation and technical evaluation for any type of rotating equipment submitted by Vendors After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface assigned machinery equipment/package included in purchase orders Review, mark-up comments and finalise all vendor drawings, interfacing with other process or technical disciplines Attend to internal review activities and participate to inter-discipline review meetings Participate to and assist technical disciplines to perform engineering activities (e. g.

utilities and electrical load list, layouts, 3D, routings) Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Foreign languages: Italian and English - high level
