Activities The Job holder carries out the activities according to the Italian Regulations (mainly D. Lgs. 624/1996, D. Lgs. 81/08, D. Lgs. 105/15, DPR177/11) and the Modello 231 adopted by Company and doesn't infringe the provisions therein stated. The Job holder respects the Compliance, Code of Conduct, Ethic Chart, HSE Chart and all procedures and rules of Affiliate and Group.
Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of maintenance plan of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, gas and steam turbines, and other critical machinery.
The main tasks associated to the role are:
Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment, at the same time identifying actions for cost reduction and process improvement. Perform technical investigations in case of failures for corrective repairs and capitalize with lessons learned. Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications for modification, taking into account previous availability data and process. Provide training and knowledge sharing to other engineers, quality inspectors, and operators. Provide technical input for purchasing specifications, including evaluation of technical proposals. Follow event reports with the aim of identifying causes and suggest (new) technical solution. Attends meetings with suppliers and customers and rotating machines specialist in HQ. Support in preparing CFT for new maintenance contracts or new purchase order for new equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and safety, to ensure seamless integration of rotating equipment activities.
Candidate Profile Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and rotating machinery-related roles, with comprehensive knowledge of gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps, and gearboxes.
