We are currently seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer, reporting directly to the Machinery section head to join our equipment engineering division team based in Rome, Italy.

About the opportunity we offer: You will work inside the Rotating Equipment Section that is in charge of the technical selection, detail engineering development, and supplier management for the plant turbomachinery.
You will lead the integration of the equipment in all the technical aspects and interfaces with the plant (process, instrumentation, electrical, piping, civil), being in charge of the verification of the technical conformity with the project specifications, covering the entire project-life of the equipment since the selection phase up to delivery at project site.
Key interactions of the Machinery Engineer are internally with Project teams, Procurement, Process, Construction departments, and other engineering disciplines; externally with Clients and Suppliers.
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;Preparation of material requisition for inquiry;Technical analysis of received bids;Preparation of material requisition for purchase;Act as a main interface with suppliers during the detailed engineering phase and technical follow-up of the scope of supply;Ensure proper communication and interface with project functions as procurement and planning, other disciplines specialist engineers, and clients;Ensure timely reporting on engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer;Adhere to the committed man/hours and budget;Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project. You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops, move to other Technip Energies operating centers, and join our colleagues overseas.
You will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to machineries directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:
Qualifications: Master degree in mechanical or energetic engineering
Languages: English fluent
Main Skills: Attitude to perform the work in a team, in an international and multi-cultural environment;Capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level;Open-minded with respect to new energy sources and digital solutions;Knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies as well as new digital tools and solutions;Availability for international mobility for either short or long term assignment;A previous experience (from 2 to 5 years) in a similar role and knowledge of Machinery is a plus.
