Job Description: Airswift is now actively recruiting for a Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer who will work on a major and key strategic project, MozLNG.
The position is based in Milan, Italy.
Reporting to Maintenance Manager, 12 months renewable, residential contract.
Duties: Prepare the Maintenance strategies and plans associated with all PVV equipment and associated support systems on the LNG complex.
Ensure the standardization and optimization of spare parts as well as the spares management strategy for all Rotating equipment and support systems on the LNG Complex.
Prepare maintenance contracts for the PVV equipment on the LNG Complex.
HSE Responsibilities: Adhere to HSE, Company policies, Confidentiality, Compliance needs, and Procedures.
Demonstrate safety leadership by working safely, highlighting any potential incidents or dangerous situations.
Contribute towards continual HSE improvement of safety behaviour for the role and others.
Attend mandatory HSE trainings and apply them to on-site tasks, ensuring team and vendor compliance.
Support to maintain and continually improve ISO 14001 Environment Management System requirements and other management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with the Senior PVV Engineer on all aspects of Mechanical Engineering & Maintenance matters, and provide expert technical advice.
Work with the Senior PVV Engineer and all members of the Mechanical team to ensure delivery of the Mechanical activities in the Maintenance and Inspection Engineering (MIE) plan.
Review documents and technical characteristics of rotating equipment supplied by the project to identify challenges for future maintenance activities in the operation phase.
Act as an interface between EPC and MIE Contractor to facilitate data flow and ensure technical guidance of MIEC for rotating equipment.
Review and if required develop, the maintenance strategies for rotating equipment and ensure compliance of the planned preventive maintenance program to the company's Safety & Environment Critical Element (SECE) performance standards.
Contribute to the data preparation of Condition Based Maintenance tools and organization in order to optimize PM and promote failure anticipation.
Develop and review the rotating equipment planned preventive and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program.
Work with the company team and MIEC to develop maintenance procedures and standards for various rotating equipment.
Liaise with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance, modifications, spare parts, drawings, and the resolution of technical problems.
Work with the Operations team during commissioning phase for all rotating equipment.
Review and control the standardization of materials and spare parts for all rotating equipment and related systems.
Develop the scope of works for rotating equipment support contracts.
Prepare all required procedures for future maintenance operations.
Ensure preparation of data required for future maintenance operation and troubleshooting.
Consultant's Profile: Excellent knowledge of rotating/mechanical oil & gas / LNG equipment, maintenance, repair and methods.
Excellent knowledge of GE Frame 7 Gas Turbines, large rotating equipment (compressors, expanders, pumps), LNG loading arms, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent knowledge of international codes & standards.
Good knowledge of maintenance SAP (like CMMS).
Good knowledge of computer applications and methods.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Qualifications: Bachelor of higher education in Rotating or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with international standard and solid experience.
Experience: Minimum 20 years specific maintenance experience in oil, gas or petrochemical industry.
Minimum 10 years in LNG producing plants, not LNG terminals.
Excellent knowledge of Gas Turbines and Compressors.
