You will design, implement, and improve site programs, activities and initiatives aimed at preventing EHS incidents, complying with applicable regulations (basically D. Lgs.
81/08 and D. Lgs.
152/06), and drive site EHS performance towards World Class levels.
You will also l ead the introduction of Corporate Global EHS Standards within the local organization.
Responsibilites
You will ensure adherence of Corporate EHS requirements and local legal requirements to the local Operation by continuous cooperation with all the site functions (primarily department supervisors, maintenance and engineering) and liaising with professional consultant(s) locally, work closely to the Company Doctor to ensure the Health Surveillance Program is met as required by D. Lgs.
81/08 and lead and maintain the site Integrated EHS Management System, designed according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Standards as part of the site D. Lgs.
231 Control Model.
You will also lead site Risk Assessments, Safety Observations and Safety Inspections program and the site Management of Change process (equipment installation/modifications, chemical substitution, plant start-ups, capital projects, etc.
).
You will establish and review the local annual EHS improvement plans, set up objectives and targets on EHS matters and d evelop and maintain external contacts with a contracted professional EHS consultant to be up to date with local legislations, to carry out regular trainings, to ensure obtaining a regularly updated, complex, comprehensive risk assessment for the entire local Operation.
Qualifications
A minimum of Degree in a Technical Discipline (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent) is required.
Professional Qualification as RSPP for ATECO 5 sector.
Experience of at least 5 years as RSPP and / or EHS coordinator in a manufacturing site, better if part of a multinational company.
Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
Leadership and influencing skills, ability to coordinate teams, drive progress, sell ideas, plans and projects, and manage them through completion.
Disciplined and results oriented.
