Offer DescriptionType of teaching commitment: Teaching activities, supplementary teaching and student service, relating to teachings in the scientific disciplinary sector covered by the procedure specifically in the context of topics relating to biomechanics and cardiovascular mechanics and computational mechanics with an interdisciplinary approach aimed at highlighting the application in the clinical and sports fields.

Type of scientific commitment: The scientific commitment consists in carrying out scientific research activities in the scientific disciplinary sector covered by the procedure, with particular reference to cardiac mechanics, with a focus on fluid dynamics, soft tissue mechanics, and the interaction between blood flow and cardiac tissues.

The research activity must be addressed with a methodological approach that uses theoretical and computational techniques in combination with diagnostic image analysis techniques aimed at extracting mechanical and functional information.

As a main feature, the research activity will have to be deeply interdisciplinary, based on methodological rigor coming from physics roots and extending towards medical research, with the aim of transferring theoretical and engineering methods to contribute to clinical outcomes.
