Offer DescriptionType of teaching commitment: The researcher must be able to guarantee teaching activities that are functional to the training activities in which the Department is engaged in the headquarters in Trieste in the areas of electrical system design; management and control of transmission, distribution, on-board electrical systems; design, control and protection of AC/DC hybrid networks.

Type of scientific commitment: The scientific commitment required of the researcher will concern the macro area of management and control of on-board, territorial and transmission electrical systems.

In particular, it will have to refer to the issues of voltage regulation in electrical systems, dynamic-electromechanical modelling of transmission systems and electrical energy production plants, on-board electrical systems, from the point of view of dealing with aspects such as analysis, design, management, control, reliability and safety of the systems themselves, both in interconnected networks (transmission, distribution, including microgrids with storage systems and distributed generation) and in isolated networks (with particular reference to naval networks), both in alternating current and direct current.
