No Offer Description Type of teaching commitment: The teaching activity that the researcher will be called to carry out, based on the teaching program of the Department in the disciplines belonging to GSD 02/PHYS-01, will concern courses of the Bachelor's Degree, the Master's Degree in Physics and the PhD in Physics, coverage of basic Physics courses in other degree courses, and any additional student service tasks such as orientation and tutoring activities, also in support of the preparation of degree and doctoral theses with particular attention to the aspects of data analysis and high-performance computing. Type of scientific commitment: The scientific commitment, in line with the research themes of GSD 02/PHYS-01, will be carried out within the strategic research lines for the Department of Physics, with particular attention to experimental research activities with the use of skills in the field of High-Performance Scientific Computing, applied to research in astroparticle physics, for the analysis of data from cosmic ray, gamma ray and gravitational wave observatories, and to physics at particle accelerators for the analysis of large amounts of data collected in high-energy physics experiments. The researcher will have to participate in scientific collaborations with national and international research groups, including with roles of responsibility and coordination, and will be able to carry out part of his/her research activity at Italian and foreign research laboratories. The scientific results obtained must be published in high-profile international journals and presented by the researcher at national and international conferences. The researcher will be involved, also with roles of responsibility and coordination, in the third mission activities planned by the Department of Physics, with particular reference to: orientation, ongoing training, communication events for the general public.
