Position Summary**:

Reporting to the Regional Director ANH EMEA and in close relation with the Director of Technical Services and its team, this position will

- support the ANH salesforce technically in Europe and internationally in the sale of Balchems' ruminant portfolio

- represent and uphold the high standard of scientific integrity of our products in professional peer interactions

- prepare and deliver the highest quality training materials and programs to internal and external stakeholders

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support in the area of product sales (rumen protected nutrients, precision release minerals, rumen fermentation enhancers, ) including specific product knowledge and utilizing a broad practical nutrition knowledge to position these products effectively with Balchem ANH customers.

- Work to help deliver business unit's sales and profitability goals

- Prepare and present technical product presentations to a broad range of audiences

- Contribute to written articles both to the scientific and commercial press on pertinent product related topics

- Lead regionally the efforts to develop advocates within the research, universities, technical and commercial arena and build a strong network of supporters for Balchem.

- Interact with local and regional Universities and/or technical institutes to help coordinate R&D efforts where directed by management.

- Contribute to competitive intelligence gathering and assist in strategic utilization of this knowledge by the commercial organization

- Assist Regional sales managers with key account planning and strategies.

**Essential Education/Experience/Skills**:

- Preferably phD or DVM

- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales/support role(s) in the livestock industry

- Knowledge of the dairy nutrition business in the EMEA region, practical experience of dairy production systems, good knowledge of various formulation software

- Strong relationship building capabilities

- Team player as well as self-starter

- Able to work in a matrix organization and multicultural environment

- Fluent English required
